Some items will be new or called surplus.  Surplus items may be New Old Stock (NOS), or graded on our Condition 1-3 scale.

New:  
New production items still in the package.  All branded items are like this (Kershaw, BCM, Mil-Tec, AGM, etc)

NOS:  
Surplus items that are still in the bag or with tags and/or appear unused.  NOS items may have discoloration or marks from long term storage

Condition 1:  
Items that are previously issued but appear lightly used, for all intents these are considered like New with very minor wear evident.

Condition 2:  
Items that were issued and appear used but are fully serviceable.  Minor buttons or straps may not be present but the main function of the item is still serviceable.  Expect items that are a bit dirty, maybe stinky, but have minor to fair amounts of abrasion /wear and non-critical fraying.  This is the most common condition of military surplus items we sell.

Condition 3:  
Items that are heavily used, and are in need of repair.  Expect heavy fraying, abrasion/wear, holes, rust, dirt, oil, stank, mysterious powders (?), and missing hardware.  Consider only if you want a project to restore, scrap material, costuming, or collecting.  There's a reason it's cheap.  We don't typically sell these but they will be called out when they are available. Avoid if you want actual utility from your items.

Pictures only convey so much and individual samples vary.  Please refer to our guide.  If you need it to work, Condition 2 is fine.  If you want it to be clean, get Condition 1 or new.

The product page description and variants describe what all the product comes with.  

For example, surplus military ALICE packs may be described as "Pack Only" -- meaning it is missing the frame, hip belt and such.  If you need a working ruck, get a "Complete Ruck" variant instead.
